Mrs. McGrath graduated from the University of Portland in 2012 with a degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education and a special education endorsement. She started teaching Kindergarten at St. Francis of Assisi in 2012 and loves it! In 2016 she obtained a Master’s in Education with a focus on Neuroeducation from the University of Portland. Mrs. McGrath incorporates her love of learning into her teaching practices in the classroom and wants all students to be happy, successful, and love learning. She believes Kindergarten should be a fun and exciting introduction to school.
In her free time, Mrs. McGrath enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, and listening to music. She also loves going to Mass with her family at St. John the Apostle Church in Oregon City. This is where she grew up and has attended Mass for most of her life. The Catholic faith has always been important to her, and she incorporates this faith into all areas of the classroom.
