Mrs. Gutierrez and her husband have two children (17 & 12 years old). They live in Forest Grove with their two dogs, a cat, and two fish.
Mrs. Gutierrez has a Bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University in Human Development and Family Sciences. She received her Master's degree from Pacific University in teaching with an endorsement to teach multiple subjects K-8th.
Mrs. Gutierrez has worked with children since 2007. She worked with elementary school-aged children for the US Army for 7 years. When her family came back to the states, Mrs. Gutierrez worked with teen parents and their babies at Forest Grove High School for a year and a half. She then worked as a head preschool teacher for the YMCA. In 2018, Mrs. Gutierrez joined the St. Francis teaching staff and became the preschool director of Little Dove Preschool. She was able to student teach full-time in kindergarten and in 5th/6th grade during 2019 and 2020.
She loves working with children in such a great Christ-centered environment! Teaching them how to explore the world around them and how to have a close and prayerful relationship with God is what she enjoys most of all!
